Certification Section

VDMBE SERVICES DIVISION provides for the Certification of those businesses that wish to achieve the benefits of participation in the Commonwealth's Small, Women-owned and Minority-owned business programs. The most important of these programs are designed to open doors to state and local government contracting opportunities.

Procurement Advocacy Section

The Procurement Advocacy section works with state agencies to develop comprehensive and specific procurement initiatives for minority-owned, women-owned and small businesses (SWaMs), and provides assistance to the minority- and women-owned businesses that wish to pursue procurement opportunities with state agencies and private sector entities.
